A Transport Board guard is facing six charges of stealing money from that statutory corporation.
Daryl Randolph Griffith of River Bay, St. Lucy denied three of the charges when he went before the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court today. These charges relate to offences allegedly committed in the parish of St Michael.
When the 48-year-old accused attends the Holetown Magistrates’ Court on September 15, he will be required to plead to the other three charges which were allegedly committed in St Peter.
The allegations are that Griffith stole funds in the amounts of $840. 49, $2,206. 95, $1,842. 68, $148. 40, $38. 80 and $1,023. 35, all between February and May this year.
Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant granted Griffith $6,000 bail until December 8 when he returns to court.
