COURT TODAY BLOCKA young couple was advised today to ‘walk away’ before something worse happens between them.

The advice came from Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant as she addressed the pair in the District ‘A’ Magistrate Court No. 2.

Kishmar Pedro Alleyne appeared in court charged with unlawfully and maliciously wounding Kimberly Bynoe on Monday.

Alleyne, 30, lives at Lot 84 Clapham, St Michael.

When the complainant came to court today, she indicated that she no longer wanted to proceed with the matter.

There was a white bandage on her forehead.

When the magistrate enquired what the problem was between them, the complainant said Alleyne was aggressive, but he made a similar counter-claim.

It was at that point that attorney-at-law Verla Depeiza addressed the court, saying that she had known both parties for a long time and had already spoken to them about their behaviour.

The magistrate dismissed the matter with a warning to both persons and ordered $150 court costs to be paid. It
was paid.
