Two 17-year-olds have to perform 90 hours of community service each for having small quantities of marijuana yesterday.
Gabriel Don Taylor, of #9 Johnson Development, Foul Bay, St Philip and Noah Campbell, of #22 Windy Ridge, Church Hill, Christ Church both appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick today and pleaded guilty.
Frederick informed them that the community service was “a golden opportunity” for them not to have a conviction recorded against their names, once they performed it properly.
Both first offenders, who were represented by attorney-a-law Wilfred Abrahams, return to court next January 29. The case was heard in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court.
