COURT TODAY BLOCKA search warrant which police executed at the home of Travis Rondell Coppin today, yielded 15 paper wrappings of cannabis.

Coppin, 32, lives at Valery Land, Upper Collymore Rock, St Michael.

When the unemployed man went before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court, he pleaded guilty to the charge of possession of the marijuana, but denied having a traffickable quantity or intent to supply the same.

He was fined $750 forthwith and his other matters adjourned until October 20. He will be on $2 500 bail until then.

The facts revealed that when police went to the house and entered his bedroom, the floor was carpeted. On lifting the carpet, they found a small hole in the floor.

A peanut butter container was found under the cellar with the marijuana inside, in small transparent plastic bags.
