Three of the four neighbours accused of making a disturbance at Park Road, St Michael yesterday admitted doing so when they faced a Bridgetown court this morning.
Kathy-Ann Sharon Springer, 46, and her daughter Kendra Springer, 19, of Unit 2D 1st Avenue Park Road, as well as Melisa Marsha Mayers, 27, and her 17-year-old brother Joshua Jai Smith, of Unit 2C all went before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court.
However, while the others admitted committing the offence, Kathy-Ann Springer maintained that she did not.
The court heard from Sergeant Janice Ifill that on November 11, all three neighbours were involved in a dispute and it ended in a fight between Kenya and Melisa. Smith also joined in and the police were later called to the scene.
All first-time offenders, they were each placed on a six-month bond to keep the peace. Any breach of that bond will mean a $700 forthwith fine or a month in jail.
They apologised to the court.
Meanwhile, Kathy-Ann Springer was granted $2 000 bail and returns to court on March 10 next year.
