COURT TODAY BLOCKTwo men who went before the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court late this afternoon denied their charges.

By the end of court, one was on his way to prison after being remanded, while the other left the courtroom on bail.

In separate cases, Terry Orlando Grant, 36, of Rockhampton Road, Grazettes, St Michael pleaded not guilty to assaulting Ainsley Gill today.

Bail was granted in the sum of $4 000 and Grant was told to stay away from Gill and return to court on February 25 next year.

Meanwhile, Oneal Sylvester Farmer was also offered bail but he had no suitable surety on hand.

The 33-year-old unemployed man of no fixed place of abode, denied loitering along Hastings Road, Christ Church on November 12 and giving reason to suspect that he was there to commit theft.

His matter will be called again on December 11.

Both men appeared before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant.
